In the park you can practice birdwatching, and maybe you will observe the Hispanolia parakeet, the papagayo, or the Selle thrush, as well as more than 150 types of orchid and a lot of beautiful trees.

To start with, you will pass inside a wet tropical forest, and while you keep going uphill, you will enjoy the colder temperature of the pine trees forest.

To reach the top of the excursion, el Hoyo de Pelempito (1500m hight) you will cross a beautiful landscape which is home of a great variety of fauna and flora.

Once you reach the Hoyo de Pelempito, you will visit a very attractive botanic park and you enjoy your meal from the "Mirador" which offers the most amazing panoramic view over the mountains of Bahoruco.

In the afternoon you will come back downhill to visit some Taïnos caves and archeological sites of the country.

You will end the day with the visit of typical Haïtian market of Perdernales.
